백제 수도 거발성(居拔城)은 양자강 하류에 있었다.   삼국사기에 남북조 시대 역사서 북사(北史)와 당서 (唐書)내용을 인용하여 백제의 수도를 거발성(居拔城) 또 고마성 (固麻城), 그 밖에 다섯개의 방성(五方城)있고, 서쪽 바다 건너 월주(越州)에 이른다고 했다. 백제는 부여의 후손이 세웠다. 초기 수도는 형 비류가 정착한 대방고지 미추홀(彌鄒忽)과 동생 온조가 하남 위례성에서 한성으로 옮겨 두 곳에 있었다.중국사서에는 온조왕에 관한 기록이 없다. 비류의 선조를 부여왕 위구대 (夫餘王尉仇台) 라 했다. 우대 (優台)에 원수구(仇)자를 넣고 동명의 가계를 비하 했다.
